Your log cabin will be ready from 3 or3.30pm depending on your cabin, you will receive and email 24 hours prior to your arrival with all the relevant information regarding your stay at Whinstone View.
Breakfast is served from 9:00am until 11am in the Bistro or delivered to your log cabin

Booking terms & conditions

Whinstone View accept all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American express.

Any bistro or spa services which you may incur during your stay are not chargeable to your lodge and should be paid for separately.

A house keeping check will be carried out prior to lodge departure.

Unreported accidental damage to the property or missing items will be dealt with at the manager discretion.

Smoking in the lodge or smoking outside the lodge with door or windows left open is not allowed. If this ban is ignored a deep cleaning charge of £75 will be incurred which is required to omit the smell of stale tobacco.

We operate zero tolerance of loud or abusive behavior and you and/or members of your party will be asked to leave immediately if your conduct is considered, by us, to infringe our rules or is likely, in our belief, to impair the enjoyment or comfort or safety of other guests and/or staff. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.

We have the right to recover, from you, the cost resulting from any damage to our property, together with any compensation we may pay to other guests as a result of the actions of you or any members of your authorised or unauthorised party.

You must use your lodge and its contents with care. Please look after your lodge and Whinstone View facilities so that they may be enjoyed by all. Please report any accidental damage to reception immediately, so that we can make a repair or replacement.

Whinstone View reserve the right to enter a lodge without prior permission of its occupants, if we feel there has been a breach of the terms and conditions.

You must read and take note of the hot tub health and safety instructions and advice situated next to the hot tub.

Please shower before and after use of hot tub.

Only hot tub products which we supply may be used in the hot tub as clients own items can damage the filter.

Please ensure you only touch the jets & lights button on the hot tub as touching any other buttons may result in you turning the temperature off and it will not reheat during your stay.

Please remove any jewellery or watches prior to entering the hot tub. Whinstone View will not be held responsible for any damage caused to items if this request is ignored, dark colours may result in bleaching of swimwear.

The lodge heating is set to a specific temperature, if you feel it is too cold or too hot in the lodge we ask that you only turn down the dial on the radiators to alter the temperature. Touching the thermostat may result in the heating and hot water system not working correctly.

Prolonged exposure to bromine may cause skin irritation, we recommend 30 minutes usage at a time.

If you have any SKIN OR MEDICAL conditions please consult your doctor before arrival.

Check in is from 3pm, check out by 11am.

Late checkout taken without prior permission will be charged at £25 per 15mins.

Please note that we do not operate a 24 hour check in policy.

The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any party that does not comply with the terms and conditions.

Young parties under the age of 18 years will not be accepted.

There needs to be at least one adult aged 18 years + staying in a lodge.

There needs to be at least two adults aged 18 years + staying in Frida or the Blue lodge.

Groups, hen nights or birthday event guests will only be accepted with a minimum occupancy of fourteen guests, prior approval from Whinstone View management before a booking is accepted and full balance will be required one month.

We are unable to accept liability if we are prevented from supplying a service to you due to a Force Majeure; an event which we cannot avoid, such as act of God, civil commotion, riot, war, explosion, accident, flooding, hurricane, snow, unusually low or high temperatures, earthquake, terrorism, pandemic and any similar events which are outside of our control.

Whinstone View reserves the right to refuse to hand over accommodation to any person/s, which, in our opinion, is/are not suitable to take charge. Any refund will be at the discretion of the Management of Whinstone view

Complaints - Any complaint you have with any aspect of your stay should be notified to us as soon as possible before the end of your stay, so that we can resolve the problem. To contact reception during your stay please dial 100 or for the bistro call 111 from your phone with in the lodge, subsequently if there is no one available please ring the emergency numbers that are found with in your lodge information. We may not be able to consider any request for refund/compensation if we have not been made aware of your complaint at the time and noted your comments.

Whinstone View is not responsible for any left personal property customers are responsible for own possessions.

All self-catering lodges will be provided with bath robes and bath towels, any additional towels will be provided at a small charge.
Payment Policy
50% of the booking fee will be paid at the time the booking is placed, the remaining 50% will be taken from your account 24 hours before your stay.
By accepting to the terms & conditions you allow Whinstone View Bistro & Log Cabins the right to deduct the remain balance from your account.
We accept all major credit cards.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that all guests wishing to make a cancellation, to do so by telephone followed by written confirmation either by letter or email info@whinstoneview.com
If you can not attended the original booking date and would like to change the date, contact info@whinstoneview.com and we will re-arrange the booking date where possible.
Please note:
if a cancellation is made within 24 hours of checking in, the full outstanding balance will be retained.
If a cancellation is made within 1 to 7 days of checking in, 50% of the full balance will be retained.
We can transfer your date subject to availability if 7- 14 days notice has been given.
If a cancellation is made prior to 2 weeks before checking in, 100% of the booking will be refunded.
For 'no shows' the full outstanding balance will be retained.
If any of the below circumstances cause a guest to cancel less than 24 hours or no-show and they can be proved by documentary proof within 14 days of the reservation date the deposit only will be retained.
Death, (injury or illness causing hospitalisation) of any persons or of any close relative of such person booked. A doctor’s letter or certificate is required.
Called upon to do JURY SERVICE. Court letter with dates of Jury service is required.
Any other circumstances will be dealt with at the managers discretion.
